Hi all,

Has anyone experience please in setting up a transparent gsm data call
using V.32, in particular with a CMCS CF card?

I have tried setting up a transparent V.32 gsm data call between 2
PCs, where each PC is equipeed with a CMCS CF card via the command
"AT+CBST=7,0,0;%CPI=1;+CRC=1".

About 20% of the time, the V.32 connection is sucessfully established
within the expected 20 seconds.
Unfortunately for 80% of the time, i cannot establish the V.32
connection as the originating side receives a premature 'CONNECT'
about 2 seconds after the far end has answered. This should not be
possible as a V.32 connection takes around 15seconds to train.
Unfortunately due to this premature 'Connect' we see lots of garbage
data sent on the line

Has anyone experienced simillar problems or have any explaination for
this behaviour

Thanks
Don
