This is my first post guys and I want to start by saying thanks to all of you; I have been reading the forums and I enjoy them.

I want to get a new PC and I have this in mind:

*Gigabyte GA-990XA-UD3 Mobo
Gigabyte Radeon 6850 GPU
AMD Phenom ll x4 960T
4 G SATA lll maybe this one Kingston HyperX 4GB PC10600 1333Mhz Kit Dual Channel 2x2GB KHX1333C7D3K2/4GX
Cooler Master extreme power 600
Cooler Master HAF 912
Cooler Master Hyper 212
HDD and optical unit I already have

*If I can get it here in Mexico.

What I am looking for:

-I want to keep costs as low as possible
-Have a stable system, capable of performing well in some games, Mafia 2, Crysis and Assassin´s Creed I like (I rather lower specs and play more efficiently than spend more in GPU)
-No bottle neck parts
-No Crossfire at all ever, just not enough space
-Gaming will be 50% of the use of the system, the rest is web browsing and media center, no regular video or photo editing.
-must stand 10+ hours on, on a daily basis.

I am open to suggestions but please bear in mind I do know intel exists but I cannot afford it. It seems that here in Mexico intel is way more expensive than in the States, not only CPU´s but Mobos.

thanks in advance

I think you'd be good off with a 6770.

it will meet all your needs and not exceed them so check and compare the prices of 6770 and 6750 and 6790 and the 550 ti.

if you can find last gen gpus the 450 and 5770 will also do.

buy which ever one is cheapest. performance wise 450 <550 ti < 6750 < 5770 < 6770 < 6790. the 450 is about 30% slower than the 6790 for that comparison.

Thanks guys!

I want to OC the crap out of this, that is why I looked into this mobo and the fact it is am3+ capable wich will let me upgrade to bd or piledriver if they improve in the future. What other mobo will meet this requirements? What cheaper case do you recommend?
DDR3 you are right. I will look into the suggested GPUs

Anything with decent airflow.

There are so many.

Any of the Elite series Coolermasters.

The HAFs are more for multi-GPU setups.
