Sabertooth x58 & G.Skill 12 Gig Ram Issue

I have been working at this for sometime now and can't figure out why this is happening, so I'll turn to the experts.

I have an Asus Sabertooth x58
and am using G.Skill Ripjaws 12GB (Now I am aware this is a recommended ram, so don't bight my head off lol.)

So, my issue is if I run CPU-Z/E-LEET it shows 12288 MBytes, but for number of channels itsays Dual and not triple... Then if I look at system properties it shows 8GB. See photo >>>

Any ideas on what is going on, I know the slots are okay because my 3x1gb sticks work just fine.

My second issue is when I boot up my computer it restarts twice before finally loading the third time. On the first two trys the memok! light is on. I'm guessing it is trying different ram timings??? Is there anyway to save the setting so I don't have to go through this every time I boot up. Also, I believe this is a related issue. when it hibernates since it will not load back up and my guess it's also due to the ram.

Thanks for your help everyone.
