A question regarding Thermaltake V3 BE.

I shorted out my old motherboard so I decided replace it with this http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=18660
and the case that I will use is my old Thermaltake V3 Black Edition. My old Mobo that shorted out was an mATX motherboard. Now I'm just wondering whether it is safe or not to just put my new Mobo to the case with 2 copper standoffs and 1spacer. I don't want to this new Mobo to die as well


I read some other threads about this too but they were too vague. Not getting straight to the point. Will the motherboard short out or not?


Here is a picture of the case. The yellow ones are some 'raised metal tabs '.

Lay your motherboard in the case, then mark through the mounting holes with a pencil.

With your ATX board, all but two mounting holes should be over the raised tabs. Simply put standoffs under the other two.

Then for an extra check, count the number of mounting holes in the board. That's how many mounting screws (I'm guessing 10) you should use.

The case only came with 2 standoffs and 1spacers.
