Please help me upgrade my PC

Hello

Here is my current PC specs:-

Fatality AN8 SLI motherboard
355w power supply
Nvidia Geforce 8500GT
2GB RAM
AMD Athlon 64 3500+
500MB hard drive

So I thought I could upgrade to 8GB RAM and get a better processor and graphics card. Although im not too sure what is compatible. I also think I will probably need a bigger power supply. I want to be able to play starcraft 2 and the future starcraft 2 games well.

Please can people advise me. Also I want to be able to play videos from the PC on my TV but not sure how. can this be done wireless?

Hi Marc,

Your Mobo is socket 939, which is too old to realistically upgrade the processor. You mobo also uses standard DDR400, which is also outdated. With that in mind I think its time to think about a new computer!

ha ha ok. well could I upgrade everytning and just keep the hard drives and disc drives or should i just stat from scratch do you think?

I'd keep the optical/hard drive if they're SATA. If they're ATA, I don't know of any modern motherboards that support PATA anymore...
