How to get the BSOD problem fixed.?

hey everyone, i have assembled a new desktop pc for home use only but 3 days after using it i m encountering many errors. most prominent one's are the BSODs , they occur only during new installation[software and drivers] or while i am playing any game[far cry 3 for instance]. Every time these BSODs come with a new error message .Please help
I been reading and following posts here at tom's hardware and i have tried a few things according to it also. Did run memtest86+ and tested my 4gb ddr3 IRVINE ram in both slots and have encountered 1308 and 1217 errors in 3 passes. So i guess Ram is the issue . But i just wanted to be sure and want to know other problems that may also be.

Intel i5 3450, 4gb ram, 500gh hd , ATI RADEON 6670 HD 1 gb ddr5, asus P8h61 lx 3 MB

Impossible to sort out other errors, as long as the ram is not working properly.
