I just got on my computer today after using it most of yesterday. All of a sudden now whenever there is a visual effect like minimizing a screen, watching a video, or playing a game, wherever there is motion, the screen gets a rainbow colored blur around the parts in motion. I have tried reinstalling my graphics card drivers, but that didn't seem to fix the problem. Does anyone know anything about how to fix this issue?

System Specs:
Motherboard: Gigabyte p55-ud4p
CPU: Intel i5 750
Graphics Card:Asus directCU 5850
Memory: Ripjaw 7-8-7-20 1600
Monitor: Dell SP2309W

Maybe it has something to do with cleartype? You have an unusual monitor, maybe it orders the sub-pixels differently.

Make sure the desktop resolution is set to your monitor's native res.

I have had this monitor for over a year now and had no problems with it. This all started yesterday, and all day Sunday I played Battlefield 3. Could it be an issue with my graphics card?

Could be, or could be your monitor. Try a different monitor to determine where the problem lies.

Well, I guess you guys were right, I do not seem to be having the problem on my old monitor. I ended up getting frustrated and unplugged the monitor, and it restarted and is now working perfectly fine again. Go figure lol
Thanks for all of you help guys :D
