New Gaming Build 1000$ Budget

Approximate Purchase Date: A few weeks

Budget Range: 950-1050

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming (With slightly heavy modding)

Parts Not Required: Monitor, Keyboard Mouse, Case and power supply (Friend is giving it to me so i don't know specifics) Hard drive

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: New egg, i get a slight discount when i shop there

Country: USA

Parts Preferences: by brand or type: Intel and nvidia are my 2 most trusted brands.

Overclocking: Maybe

SLI or Crossfire: Maybe, i don't fully understand how to use them.

Monitor Resolution: 1920x1200

Additional Comments: Couldnt care less about noise, Would like to know if it can play BF3 on highest settings. This is my first build that i actually chose the parts so any advice would be nice. Considering overclocking and i don't know what CPU cooler to buy.

You'd better check to make sure - the 570 requires a minimum of a 600W PSU and you need to be sure that its' certified and rated at least 80+ bronze or better.

As great as this card is you should really take a good look at the 7950 and 7970 - both cards are currently owning 3-D Mark records and they will continue to for quite a while.

Otherwise the build looks pretty good.
