New Gaming PC setup

I plan on building a new gaming PC for myself, below is a list of the hardware I am planning on using, and I would like some advise on my possible future set up:

I am not set in stone on any of the components, and am open to suggestions. The reason I have listed a 1333 ram set, is because I heard the i7 - 2600k is not supported with anything > 1333 Mhz, has anyone else heard of this or ran into this problem? Any other problems anyone sees with the above set up?

Unless you plan on heavy-video-editing, get the i5-2500k and 8 GB 1600 mhz ddr3 ram.

I would go for the:
CORSAIR Vengeance 16GB (4 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600

I use Vengeance with OC and she's been working great.

I do not plan on doing heavy video editing, but that is a possability in the future, just out of curiosity, why would you recommend the i5 - 2500k over the i7 - 2600k? Is the extra cache and Hyper-threading not worth it?

Not worth the 100 unless you do some very CPU-intensive tasks, moreso than Gaming that is.

Thanks for the suggestion, does anyone have any recomendations for a CPU cooler, as I hear the stock ones usually don't cut it, and I do plan on OCing.

A CoolerMaster Hyper 212 EVO (or 212 +) will be good for air cooling. For water, go with Corsair's kits (H60, H80, H100).
