How to take apart a galaxy gtx 460

Hello,

I am disassembling a galaxy GTX460 super OC for a friend to soder a broken piece. Would this work, for one? And also, how would I go about removing the heatsink?

idk he was getting rid of it, but i figured it out anyhow. There was a melted piece of rubber under the heatsink.. typical Galaxy haha

FYI.. By removeing the plastic plenum from the galaxy gtx 460 (screwed to the heat sink) I've lowered my gpu temp by 7+C. Idles at 27c under laod (bf3) only up to 50c.
