As the tittle say i am building a computer for my cousin.. Gaming computer ( only game he plays is WOW like myself)

And his budget is tight. well not that tight. anyways

the CPU i was thinking of getting him was the AMD Bulldozer x4 fx 4100.. now i am looking for advice on motherboard so many out there..
i am looking for quality where he can slap on some high end RAM and at least 12-16g of it.

Also RAM to go along. that i can figure out on my own..

Looking for something with a little extra kick to play that game i know it doesn't require much but to play everything max you still need to have a little kick so any recommendation will be taken.. Canadian customer here FYI lol..

Thanks in advance

Looking to buy in 2 weeks

Motherboard

Ok so show him or you pick 2 or 3 of each and price them, IE... fx6300 $139.99, fx4300 $129.99
MOBO Gigabyte $79 Asroc $72.99

get the ideal????

then figure which you like or he likes and make sure they are compatable.

for example I know the cpu and mobo's work together.

also different brands have different prices for same item. shop around and try to get the best for the least amount of money, Bang for your Buck!!!

You forgot to mention what the amount of the tight budget is? $200, $300 etc.....
right now the Phenom II x4 965 black is on sale for $85 or you could get a fx 4300 those would be better choices for a gaming cpu. single GPU or crossfire? I would recomend a am3+ 970 board and 4gbz of memory with the best price, fastest speed and lowest cl you can fit into the budget.

I personaly like the Gigabitye also. You have to trade off some where and the memory will probably be it, 4gb should be enough for the system, if you have the extra $$$ get more. I have used all brands of memory and they are the same to me, all that matters is the speed and the cl score. From what I have reccomended I am up to $525 and you still need the case and PSU. If you go with the GIG MOBO that is $531, You can always drop $10 and go with the FX 4100. I am just trying to help you with some options.

http://www.canadacomputers.com/product_info.php?cPath=33_442&item_id=040841 $35 for a name brand 500watt PSU
