My friends are saying that ATI Radeon is the best for playing games in AMD. But someones says that, if u compare the same price range graphic card of Radeon VS nvidia geforce, performance (Pixel Fill Rate, Texture Fill Rate & Shader Operations:- & I don't know what is these things) is goes to nvidia geforce.
My computer processor is AMD ATHLON X2 2.9Ghz & motherboard is ASUS M2N68 AM- PLUS. Please tell me which can I choose. Radeon OR nvidia geforce?

You should be more detail, what about RAM? PSU? Monitor? Budget?
It's all depends on many things, both AMD or Nvida has their own pros and cons... :)

This is my system config:
AMD ATHLON X2 2.9Ghz
ASUS M2N68 AM- PLUS MOTHER BOARD
SAMSUNG 18.5" LCD
2 GB RAM
2.5 TB HDD
400W SMPS

My maximum budget is 4000 (Indian rupees). I already have a graphics card, that is ASUS Radeon HD 5450 DDR3. Now I need to change it. I can play Crysis 2 & Black Ops very smoothly. Now I need to play Battlefield 3. I installed this game, but the game is not playing very well. I have a selected some Graphic Cards, please tell me which is the best.....

For 400W PSU then I think you should go with HD5670, surely it's faster than HD5450. :)

The 5670 would be the winner of those cards.
Lower power consumption with DX11 tech, and is as fast as the radeon HD4770.

and running that card in Dx 11 will give you what 5fps? That's card is way too slow for dx 11. Even the 6770 gives you like 17fps with dx 11.

no you cannot play BF3 smoothly on a 5670. I tried to do that on lowest settings with an i7 2600 in my system and it was laggy and horrible. do not i repeat do not try and play BF3 with a 5670 on your rig you will not be happy. my advice is replace your PSU and get a GTX 560 ti or amd 6850/70. These cards are probably out of your budget but will be able to nearly max out BF3. If you arent loking to max it out then try a 5870 which is a little cheaper than the 6870 i belive. you will not be satisified with 5670 performance. Please keep in mind to be careful if you do replace your PSU as it can be dangerous if you dont know what you are doing. i would reccomend a 650 watt corsair for the GTX 560 or GTX 560 ti same goes for amd 6870. Keep in mind though that my 5670 was an OEM card and was underclocked i belive. So maybe if you trully cannot afford to replace the pSU and GPU then try an overclocked 5670.
