1500 to 1800 gaming and dev build dual monitor

Approximate Purchase Date: This week, ASAP

Budget Range: 1500-1800 after rebates

System Usage from Most to Least Important: .NET development, SSIS and SSRS development, lots of gaming like Skyrim, Battlefield 3, Star Wars The Old Republic, web browsing

Parts Not Required: keyboard, mouse, speakers.

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: newegg.com, that's pretty much the only one I know

Country: United States

Parts Preferences: I prefer mobo like ASUS, MSI, GIGABYTE, other than that I don't have a preference in hardware.

Overclocking: Maybe, I don't really subscribe too much to the need for overclocking

SLI or Crossfire: No - I have heard it's buggy, even though I will be using dual monitors.

Monitor Resolution: my current monitor max is 1680x1050, my new monitor will be 1080p

Additional Comments: I would love to have a smaller sturdy computer case to take up less space and so I can take the rig with me once in a while. This is where I am most lost, as I haven't built anything smaller than a full tower in the past. Also, my range is large but that is because I would like the best bang for my buck. I don't know why I would need to use dual monitors during gaming, but maybe there is a reason - my primary reason for dual monitors is to make my software development much easier. My current monitor is an older Samsung 2232BW so I will be looking to buy a new second monitor as my primary as well.

Here's what I put together in effort. I have a mid tower case about 8 years old that is my current box, and so I probably would need a new case, and I don't know what kind of cooling to add. I added the SSD to hopefully supply my BF3, WoW, and Star Wars the Old Republic. Please take a look and let me know your thoughts.
