Hello all! I was wondering if anyone out there might have some feedback on this build. I will use this primarily for gaming (World of Warcraft).

Corsair Carbide Series 400R Graphite Grey And Black Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Gaming Case

MSI H67MS-E23 (B3) LGA 1155 Intel H67 SATA 6Gb/S Micro ATX Intel Motherboard

EVGA SuperClocked 01G-P3-1461-KR GeForce GTX 560 (Fermi) 1GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 X16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card

CORSAIR Builder Series CX500 V2 500W ATX12V V2.3 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Intel Core I5-2500 Sandy Bridge 3.3GHz (3.7GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 2000 BX80623I52500

CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 X 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9B

Seagate Barracuda ST31000524AS 1TB 7200 RPM SATA 6.0Gb/S 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive

All told it comes to 691.99 (which from what I've seen is a decent deal).

One of my concerns: Is the 500W Power Supply going to be sufficient? Would there be any problem with using my 42 inch LG TV as a monitor via an HDMI connection?

Thank you ahead of time for your advice!

If you aren't going to overclock, the i5 2400 would be just about as good. If you are going to overclock, you'd need the 2500k

I agree on the i5-2400. At stock speed it is only 10% slower in most benchmarks. With the savings you could go up to a low end, but quality z68 motherboard from Gigabyte or ASUS. Most overclockers like the z68, but it has other desirable features as well.

That 500w PSU will be plenty unless you plan on adding a second card later. As is, the whole system will be more than enough for WOW.

------------------------------ The power supply is the most important component in any computer. Without a good quality one, you usually wind up with a really expensive door stop.

Pretty good build for the money. I like kinggraves' suggetion and I'd go 1up.

Get a i5 2400. It costs ~$25 less. And the performance impact is minimal (almost nonexistent tbh). Use that to bump up to a GTX560Ti. You can find good deals for ~$210-220. The performance difference will be noticeably higher at 1080p.

The PSU should have no problem running a GTX560Ti.
