your computer has a CPU with a LGA775 socket in it. That new motherboard's socket is for LGA1155 (intel i3/i5/i7) So on top of the new board, you would also have to purchase a new CPU and Memory (RAM)

do yourself a favor. Buy a decent mid-tower, a good H75 chipset motherboard (several newegg specials come with 8gigs of RAM), a LGA 1155 like an i5-3450, and start building a computer that is not only up to par with current games but has room to expand and upgrade. (PCIEx16 gen3, SATA 6Gb/s, USB 3.0, etc) (EDIT: If your current HDD is SATA then it would swap but remember that you will have to reinstall your operating system when you get the new board)

Personal Recommendation: Don't buy HP, Compaq, Dell, etc. You can build a better computer for the same price that will last longer and have better features/ room for upgrades.)
