Question about GPU upgrad on a system with integrated GPU

I have a Dell Inspiron 570 that has an integrated GPU. I recently installed a graphics card and all seems to be working fine. However, I was wondering if it would be beneficial to disable the GPU that is built into the motherboard. Would it provide any performance benefit? And if so, how would I disable the integrated GPU?
