Cd/dvd drive

Hello, my cd/dvd player/ burner on my acer aspire 5750 was functioning 6 hrs ago. I was trying to backup my drivers and all to a disk and I got to 3 disc then found out that it would take me 60 disc to complete the job. Therefore, I cancelled the job until I have more disk. however just 30 minutes ago I decided to accept a notification about my factory default backup and attempted to backup my factory default. My problem now lies in the fact that when I insert the blank disc hether before or when it prompts me to do so, the disc keeps ejecting on its on. Now I'm not able to do my factory default backup. Can someone pleeease help me to resolve the matter! Thanks in advance for your time. Looking forard to hearing from you real soon.
