Help please new rig not running right!

I recently decided to upgrade my cpu and mb after 3d mark showed me that my gpu's were being bottlenecked by my fx 6100. So I ordered an i7 3820 and ASRock X79 Extreme9 LGA 2011 Intel X79 combo from new egg. As well as 16 gb corsair vengeance 1866. My 3d mark overall score for fire strike (default) with fx 6100 and sli 670 ftw was 6718. I was really hoping since the physics score was hurting bad that this new rig would blow that away. While the new physics score was over double with the i7, the graphics score was much lower. I have tested all connections and drivers are all to date.

Please help!

You do have "Maximize 3D Performance" checked in the Nvidia Control Panel, correct? Do you have your Global Settings set to "single display performance mode" if using one monitor? Which 3D Mark pgm are you using?
