Sound conflicts?

I have an Asus P4C800E deluxe motherboard and a Creative Labs Audigy X-Gamer. Upon formating and reinstalling Audigy noticed the onboard sound. I am using the Audigy card do I need to disable the onboard sound? Will it conflict with the sound card? I have no idea how to disable it.

Yes you NEED to disable it in the BIOS....

Thanks Brett that helped a lot I hadn't formatted in ages and wasn't sure I would just like to comment Asus has very good motherboards and the best service from my past experience with them it was pretty straight forward where it was in the bios
