Gigabyte ga-990fxa-ud3 not responding to keyboard

It's come to my attention that the 990fxa ud3 rev 3.0 is having trouble recognizing keyboards. I was wondering if anyone else is having the same problem and if so did you get it working and if you did Wat method did you use?

Would you at least tell us if your are using a ps2 or usb keyboard, what model and if you are very sure, that its not the keyboard?

i tried 3 ps2 and 2 usb. me and the rep from gigabyte came to the conclusion that the motherboard itself was the prolem.

Very true! Most likely a problem with the shared power for the usb and ps2 ports. I'm confident, a replacement will work.

im hoping so! i really like the look and the features of the board and wouldnt want to get a diff brand.

I am having the same problem. I am using a wireless key board and mouse from Microsoft. If it goes to sleep the mouse nor the key board will not wake the system up. Light and fans still run and the DVD will open and close, but the system still will not respond.
