system resources

I have a new system, asus a7v133, 1.2 t-bird, 256mb corsair pc133 cas2 ram, 30gig ibm ata/100 hd. I have loaded up 7gigs worth of software, but I have made sure the only xtra program besides windows that load at startup is nortons antivirus. At startup I am allready running at 86% system resources, any suggestions on what I should do or add to increase this up to the mid to high 90% range? I wasn't sure if buying another 256mb stick of ram would help.

This is normal. I wouldn't worry too much about it.
