We would need to know what power supply is in your system before recommending a video card.
Does your motherboard allow for overclocking? The E5200 overclocks easily and well and it would definitely help with current games.

From what he posted his PSU has 17 amps or 204w on the +12v rail. Personally I wouldn't run a 9800GT on that, and definitely not the older version with the power connector.
I would recommend a GT 240(preferably DDR5.) Not quite as powerful but it uses less than half the power of a 9800GT.
