Core 2 Duo Bottleneck

Will my core 2 duo e8400 @4ghz bottleneck a overclocked GTX 275 (896)

Probably. The Core Duo was a great CPU in its time but we have moved to quads and the arch changes have been vast.

That said, you can get a Core 2 Quad which would be fine for a year or more.

No it should not bottleneck it at all. The GTX 275 and Core2Duo E8400 are about the same generation. At 4Ghz you would need to move up to a GTX 570 level of card to see any bottlenecking.
