ASUS Rampage IV Extreme vs MSI Big Bang-XPower II

The Deluxe Board was Out of stock so I jiggled the numbers and was about to get the ASUS Rampage IV Extreme but lucky for me I noticed it doesn't have a 1394 port I have to have that because my video camera requires it for Video transfer.

The MSI Big Bang-XPower II has a 1394 (two of them)

I have ruled out the 7970 after reading 100's of reviews sure they are a tad faster but too hot use too much power and the coil whine would bug me and the dog. I am leaning toward this card but only if the MB I end up with supports this monster which both of these do GIGABYTE Super Overclock Series GV-N680SO-2GD

RIVE gets my vote.

If you really want the Rampage, why not get a 1394 addon card?

That way you can choose 2-4 ports based on your needs.

Even on the RIVE with the video card I am leaning towards there won't be room for the add in card I guess I can switch video cards again.

I found this thread about two 680 in SLI about the RIVE.
It seems they put the cards in slots 1 and 4.
Sounds right about how there wouldn't be room for a addon card.

MSI Big bang xpower 2 has more features than RIVE and is cheaper.
