I just want to know if this MOBO and RAM are good for the GPU and CPU.

Thanks for taking the time to click on this thread. Anyway, like the title says, I just want to know if the mobo and ram I have picked out would go good with my CPU and GPU I have picked out. My planned setup is as follows:

ASRock Z77 Extreme4
XFX Double D FX-797A-TDBC Radeon HD 7970
Intel Core i7-3770K
Corsair Vengeance 8 GB (2 x 4 GB) DDR3 1600 MHz

I need this machine for my work (graphics designer) and for gaming. I don't plan on overclocking right away but would like it as an option in the future, I don't know all that much about motherboards, and only a little about RAM so that is why I am asking the question. Is the motherboard and RAM I have picked a good match for they other hardware? And if not, please feel free to recommend parts to replace them, I WILL read all comments. Thank you for your time.

Yes, it's a good motherboard, the ram is compatible, but if your planning to add a large aftermarket cooler, i'd get low profile ram(vengeance lp), since the vengeance has really tall heat spreaders.
