I will get the specs out right now and explain after:
Motherboard: ASUS P8Z68-v pro gen3
CPU: i7 2600k
PSU: Corsair HX850
GPU: 560 ti SLI

Other things really shouldn't be important in this case.

So I was messing around with my PC when I decided to move the motherboard cable through a different hole in the cable routing system, and I forgot to power down the PSU and unplugged the motherboard. The next thing I know the PC when I try to start it will kick on for 1 second and die, no BIOS screen or anything, the display is not even awakened. Everything seems in order, the MB's lights even power on but I would think the PSU could be the problem as well.

Thanks for the help in advance!

Solution
could you try another psu to see if you get a bios screen ,if there is not you could have blown a part on the motherboard by power surge
