What motherboard to use for G840?
Apr 19, 2012, 10:18 AM
I am building a system with G840 processor and was wondering what motherboard can use it? I see it uses FCLGA1155 but all of the motherboards Ive seen so far have been LGA1155.
Can I use regular LGA1155 mobo(same that is used with 2500k and so on) with the processor?

FC = Flip Chip & LGA = Land Grid Array
FCLGA1155 & LGA1155 & socket 1155 are the same.
You can use any socket 1155 motherboard.
