Thunder blew my LAN card

hello,

few days ago my ONBOARD LAN blew bcoz of a thunder.

and BINGO i dont have pci slot. so i turned to the other alternative the USB to LAN adapter HY-QF9700: Ad link removed - SS
Well BINGO again!! it was supposed to be plug and play but ITS NOT!! you know all these Chinese items........

my OS: windows 7 64 bit and windows 7 32 bit (dual boot)

well i got some drivers from the net for the 32 bit os. and i finally got to install it but when i plug in the Ethernet port to the adapter it shows no response and still unplugged. so i went to my friends PC and installed it there hes OS was: windows 7 32 bit and was a dell ispiron laptop. to my surprise it got installed and was working perfectly when cable was plugged in. so i left trying for the 32 bit OS and got new drivers for 62 bit one,but when installing it was asking for digital signature which was missing from the driver...........

DO I HAVE ANY OTHER SIMILAR KIND OF DEVICES WHICH MAY WORK FOR ME??

I DONT HAVE WARRANTY SO CAN REPLACE THE MB!

WHAT TO DO NOW??? HOW TO MAKE THIS THING WORK!!!
BTW I LIVE IN INDIA

I HAVE NO INTERNET FROM LAST 10 DAYS,,,,,, PLZ GUYS HELP ME!!

what your after is a usb to ethernet adapter

Its a pcie x1 network card, it plugs into those little white slots in between your grpaphics card and the bottlm x16 pcie slot.

Any x1 nic will work but this is an excellent one.
