I have an old computer with two IDE hard drives. The power supply has started making a very loud noise as if the fan is touching something so I want to replace it.

The new power supplies have SATA connectors but I have IDE drives. Would it be possible to make any new power supply work my old IDE drives?

Thank you!

Solution
Your IDE (a.k.a. PATA) drives should be using the standard 4-pin Molex Peripheral power connectors that are still provided on any current power supply unit on the market that you buy.
