Full tower case suggestions, I need help

I currently have a mid tower case and am looking to upgrade to a full tower case so I can Crossfire a couple 6970's, only 1 fits in my case. I have two cases in mind, if someone could recommend one of them. I am also open to other cases if someone has a better option. Money isn't a big deal to me.

Here are the two cases I have in mind:

Corsair Obsidian Series 800D

Thermaltake Level 10 GT

More about full tower case suggestions help
  1. NZXT Switch 810. Or a silverstone raven rv-01.
  2. Lucky..I am stuck with the mid ranged stuff (CM 690 ii Advanced)
  3. I like either:
    COOLER MASTER HAF 932 Advanced
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119160
    $130.00
    or

COOLER MASTER CM Storm Series Trooper
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119245
    $150.00
  4. Given the choices presented here I'd probobly go with the COOLER MASTER CM Storm Series Trooper . Not my choice but I'm a lian li guy . good luck !
  5. Bump for more opinions!
  6. HAF X yeah its in your face and ugly but in an great in your face look at me way (I just aquired one and love it) I think the HAF 932 looks a bit like the X's bucktoothed cousin

or if you like things a bit more elegant this looks good i nearly got it.

    Xigamatek Elysium
  7. I personaly love cleaner looks over funky looking cases.

So if your somewhat budget constricted

Corsair 300r is not a full tower but it should be able to acomodate crossfire.

you also have fractal design Core 3000 or the Arc midi in the same price range.

If your not constricted by a budget... Corsair 650D would be the only choice i would consider...you not getting much more past that price range anyway, and it should provide alot of space
  8. oh yeah i would defenetly consider the bitfenix Raider aswell...very good looking case and provides 4 3.0ports
  9. corsair obsidian 800D is a great case.no lack of air flow and it's good looking too.but if you want something really sweet then go with silverstone fortress.

and if you have any doubts regarding space then.......

  10. Bump again for more full tower cases.
  11. I probably should have put this in at the beginning, I need room for these components:
    http://www.corsair.com/us/cpu-cooling-kits/hydro-series-water-cooling-cpu-cooler/hydro-series-h100-extreme-performance-liquid-cpu-cooler.html
    http://www.arctic.ac/en/p/cooling/vga/376/accelero-xtreme-plus-ii.html?c=2182
    http://www.pcpower.com/power-supply/turbo-cool-1200.html

I plan on putting two 6970's in crossfire with that cooler on each of them. The reason I had the two cases kinda picked out was they had room for the psu and graphics plus easy spots for the radiator.
  12. first,you don't 1200w!quality 850w is more than enough.
antec DF-85 is a great case and will fulfill your needs without making a hole in your pocket.you can fit the h100 on top and it has enough room and airflow for your graphics cards.the case has great build quality, airflow, plenty of room and looks really good.
  13. I didn't say earlier as I'd thought we weren't suggesting other cases,
    but
    http://www.tweaktown.com/reviews/3851/in_win_dragon_rider_full_tower_chassis/index.html
    is a good fulltower
    Moto
  14. oh yeah!dragon rider is a great case to and it looks really great in white!!
  15. Modded, looks waaay better modded too :P
    Moto

  17. Btw Op, what Mobo are you on and are both your cards the same make? you said 'only one fits'?
    Moto
  18. ^
  19. pc-z70 is lian li's best big tower on a budget
  20. ^$280( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811112327&Tpk=pc-z70 ) and you call it 'on a budget'?
    well i don't think so.

Both of the case are ultimately superior in their design and performance.

I would like to add more chassis for you that is also a superb seller in the world:-
    Cool Master :-
    HAF X Nvidia Edition
    http://www.coolermaster.in/product.php?product_id=6678

    HAF 932 AMD Edition
    http://www.coolermaster.in/product.php?product_id=6632

    HAF 932(Best seller)
    http://www.coolermaster.in/product.php?product_id=5363

Now you have total of 5 chassis from which you can pick any one they are been marked as the best. You will not regret after choosing among them at all later.

I recommend you to go with HAF 932 AMD Edition because you will crossfire and will give a better label and look for your crossfire cards. :D

there a lot of other cases that provide similar(or better)performance for less price.for example, nzxt phantom and carbide 500r.

AMD is referring to the ATI cards so for your Crossfire setup It will be a really nice one.
Oh! Out of stock. No idea about it.
  24. ^don't you think it's better to buy something new and different(reliable and solid performer OFC)instead of what most of the people already have?

Yes,its always better or good idea to purchase new one but many of the people like to purchase products which already are pretty much spread(purchasing depends on the person to person).

If you like to go with the new one then also it is a good choice.
  26. all righty then, let's wait for asker's response.

My case isn't big enough that is all.

I am leaning toward the level 10 GT. I have had a couple of their cases and have really liked them. I like how big it is, plus the ease of radiator placement and side fan. Thanks for your responses, I am going to buy it unless someone can convince me otherwise.
  28. ^level 10gt is one of the worst case for liquid cooling,i agree it has got great looks and all but if you are thinking about ease of radiator placement, then forget about it.
