Hello,
anyone able to give advice on what PC's are good for my very first gaming PC ? needs to be something that is able to play games like skyrim and dragon age smoothly although i am not fussed whether or not its on max graphics, normal/ default do me fine :)

any help would be much appreciated

are you looking to build a rig or buy one? and as said above, what is your budget.

do you need monitor/mouse/keyboard/speakers/OS to be included in the budget?

Any preferences on size/vendor/etc?

and lastly I'm assuming you want a desktop

i have a ok ish monitor but it'll do for now and i have some speakers, mouse and keyboard lined up.

so just really a decent gaming tower my budget is around £500. £600 tops at the moment. i know that this price does limit me a great deal so that is why i came here for advice and help to get the best for my money.

the main thing i want is something fast and possibly 1TB hard drive, although not that fussed if not. the other is graphics card, i was looking at graphic cards at £100 alone.

AntiZig i can not seem to find how fast the machine is (in Ghz) and is the Sapphire 100314-3L Radeon HD 6870 1 GB powerful enough to play bug rpg games like the ones listed above? sorry if thats a stupid question.

(EDIT) - just looked up the Sapphire 100314-3L Radeon HD 6870 1 GB, didn't realise how good it was, so now just wondering how fast the machine is?

as you can see i have no case for the components, does anyone know of any decent priced ones that can hold these components and also are these components compatible with one another?

i do not know what to look for when it comes to whether they will work together or not.

thanks

it takes ALOT of research to learn how to build a computer... i would recommend hours and hours on toms and other forums. newegg is a great place to get components, with a good system for narrowing down the list and comparing.
looks ok, but if you continue to research you will adapt it better to fit your needs, and looking back you will probably think "man, glad i didnt go with that!" im not saying it is not a good setup, but im sure that it is possible to find a better setup made from more reliable brands for cheaper.

600 isnt a huge amount to spend on a well built rig, many prebuilt computers can play those games fine. (my $600 dell inspiron laptop will do them)

and welcome to the forum.
