I'm planning on upgrading my processor to Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition on my mother board that is S-Series MA74GM-S2 . I check my MOBO and some say if i put the processor on my MOBO the bus speed will downrade so is it worth it?

The bus speed is modulated by the cpu, not the motherboard. If your current cpu has a higher bus speed does it have a faster core speed? More cores? Those are what you should be getting with an upgrade to your cpu. The rated bus speed of the motherboard is 1000MHz Hyper Transport (2000 MT/s) and the cpu your planning on switching to is 4000MHz Hyper Transports - 1,000 per core. So it is maxing out you fsb (front side bus). Where does the downgrade come in?

Well i thought it was a downgrade ._. . So It is ok right ? For me to get Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition for my MOBO ? Some say it isn't compatible x.x . If its not compatible then do you have any suggestion on other good proccessors for gaming and recording my gameplay that is compatible with my MOBO? Thx in advance :)

If your cpu is one of these
AMD Phenom II X4 955 3200MHz 512KBx4 6MB Deneb 45nm C3 125W 4000 N/A
AMD Phenom II X4 955 3200MHz 512KBx4 6MB Deneb 45nm C3 95W 4000 FB
Then you're good to go.
