Lga1156 with 2x8gb?

Can this be done? On intel's site my 1156 cpu says max 4gb dimm if dual ranked, but they were made before 8gb sticks. Gskill claims that their 8x2gb kits are supported by 1156. :pt1cable:

Cpu: i-5 760

No. Becasue the MB only supports the max 4GB per slot, if you install the 8GB one then the PC will not pass the POST (Power-On Self-Test). And the PC will not boot.

Thank you for letting me know. Such a shame, as I've seen one 1156 motherboard being able to run with 2x8gb.
