Is the HD 6770 1GB any good?

OK, so for the most part ill be playing games such as Dragon age, Skyrim, MW3 etc.
I'm hoping for Ultra High settings, and if the graphics card won't achieve it, could you recommend some budget graphic cards that could?
Other PC specs:
CPU: AMD FX 4100 BE 3.6GHz,

Ram: 8 GB Corsair Vengeance

Win7 Ultimate x64

Monitor: LCD Samsung Syncmaster 27"

A 6770 should be able to handle that easily. Skyrim isn't out yet so we don't know how it will actually perform, but MW3 is super easy on the GPU since it is the exact same engine as MW2.

If you want to play BF3 on ultra you will need a pair of 6770's though...

Thanks, wasnt really hoping id have to fork out a few hundred for a new high-edge graphics card

A 6770 will still play on high settings with no problem. Also, don't spend the extra money on the 2GB card, as you do not get any performance boost.

maybe you can try gigabyte 550Ti, good fan and quiet!
