hi ,

i am using xp3 now i want to install windows 7 or vista i have dvd and cd of both but my dvd drive is not detecting ..but xp3 easily booting why please help yar..

Could be a bad dvd.

Have you tried to go into the BIOS and changing the boot priority to the DVD drive and then booting the system with Win7 in the dvd rom?
