Hey. I've got a Propyl Alcohol (not iso) lying around, and was wondering if it is fine to use? According to the decleration it is "Propyl alcohol solution 35% (N-propanol). So is this ok to use?

Thanks!

I found using something somewhat hard like a toothpick or business card works great for scraping most of the paste off then using a q-tip or cotton swab to finish cleaning the surface off works best. That way you don't have a bunch of gunk build up when your cleaning it off, less risk of any leaking under the cap (if it gets runny by the cleaner your using) or getting on other parts of the chip. I have used acetone to clean off chips before too. Just have to be careful with that stuff.
