Hey guys , I'm building a pc and need help with the motherboard .

To go with the MSI Z77A-G43 or ASRock Z77 Extreme 4 ?

Will be running it with a Core i5-3570k and HD 7870 .

Solution
I'd go with the asrock z77 extreme 4 since it has more features(better onboard audio realtek ALC898) more 2 SATA III ports(asmedia), SLI support(two pcie 3.0 16x, dual mode 8x/8x) and it has more power phases.

This. I'd definitely recommend ASRock over MSI, but that's just me. From what I've seen, MSI's BIOS looks pretty bad and difficult to use, on the other hand, my ASRock mobo's BIOS looks almost exactly like ASUS's BIOS and is easy to use and tweak. Also, that board doesn't have great reviews, seems like it may have some quality issues. I think the ASRock board just plain looks better, too. Not trying to bash MSI in any way, I'm just very pleased with my ASRock board so far. So another vote for ASRock from me!

I would go for asrock anytime over any cheap msi motherboards. They have poor quality control and their vrms are not good especially if you are overclocking. Even if they put some cooling under the vrms, msi boards that are budget price isn't good at all.
