Hello, first time posting here, but I'm now in the market to build a new system, but havent done so in quite awhile, but after playing Star Wars: The Old Republic on my current system, I woke up to the realization that the time has come again to build. Here is what I'm looking at, but dont want to order until I get some feedback! Nothing worse then having to return stuff. I would very much love to stay at around $1200.00. Thanks for any feedback!! :sol:

I'm going to SLI/Crossfire, dont really think I will need to OC, but thank you for the advice to drop down my RAM, I have a tendancy to go a little overkill at times.

If you are sure you do not want to overclock, then you may want to consider saving a few extra bucks and go for the i5-2500 instead of the 2500k. However, it is only a $10 on Newegg, and having the option for easier overclocking might be nice if you change your mind.

Do you plan on getting an SSD or going strictly mechanical?

more then likely SSD though I dont mind going mechanical. For the price, I think I'll stick with the 2500k. Right now I'm sitting at 1,062.92, below budget, so thats good! Have you had any experience with Sniper RAM? I've never used it myself.

I personally have not had any experience with Sniper RAM. However, I have heard good things about G Skill and Corsair RAM.

If you are going to get an SSD, you should look at the Crucial M4 SSDs. They offer great speed and do not have a Sandforce controller, something that has causes many problems with OCZ SSDs.

Patriot should be fine too. You should check to see the warranty on any RAM you buy, but most, Patriot included, should offer a lifetime warranty.
