Approximate Purchase Date: This Week

Budget Range: 200-300$

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming (World Of Warcraft), movies, Microsoft office stuff

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Amazon, Newegg

Country: US

Parts Preferences: AMD/Nvidia (because of driver support I will run ATI if you think it's worth it)

Overclocking: Would like a Black edition CPU

SLI or Crossfire: Yes in the future

The parts i have chosen are:

Case

I am reusing my brothers case as I am putting this build together for him

CPU

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6819106001 I am thinking of getting this processor because this would allow me to overclock it relatively easy and it also has graphics that I could crossfire with a (6670 I think it is) and this would be a cheap/good setup

Motherboard

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6813157278 I am looking at this motherboard because it is made by ASRock reputable company it has 2 PCI-E 2.0 slots and it also has 4 memory slots and it's the best bang/buck motherboard for FM1 I think

Memory

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6820233187 Cheapest Memory because it's on a shell shocker right now Corsair Vengeance DDR 3 1600

Hard Drive

Already have this Sata 3.0 6GB/S

Graphics Card

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6814131440 Powercolor 6670 72.99 Cheapest one I could find

Power Supply

Already have a Coolermaster 600W PSU with enough connections to supply power to this

Optical Drive

Already have this

Cooling

Have an Extra Hyper 212+ laying around

Monitor

Already Have

Operating System

Windows 7 64 bit

If you have any reccomendations on how to make this cheaper and still have good performance please input it I do not mind the second PCI-E slot being X4 bandwith

The A8 is going to unperform even an x4 955 most of the time in gaming. You may be better off going with non-crossfired graphics and a cheaper motherboard and a better graphics card instead. Depending on what you can get deal wise.

Not sure how well that the A8 onboard chip will crossfire with the different model stand alone card too. I would check into it before I went ahead with this plan.

Possibly better off with an i3-2100 and H61 motherboard if your looking for gaming performance. And then buy the best single Graphics card you can squeeze into your budget.

i3-2100: $124 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6819115078
H61 mobo: $65 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6813131787

------------------------------ ~i5-2500k @ 4.0GHz w/ Freezer 13
~8GB 1600MHz Vengeance RAM
~ASUS P8Z68-v PRO
~Gigabyte GTX 560Ti @ 900MHz

I think a quad core from AMD would serve him better as he does do a lot of video editing and photoshop.

Llano APUs hybrid crossfire with HD6400-6600, 6670 would work.
