Hi guys i would really like it if you would help me out on this one. I have a very tight budget of $250 and i want to buy a new PC. The use would be like casual gaming, surfing the net and other stuff like that. I am open to all ideas. Im not a fan of jst like one brand so anything like AMD and Intel would do. I would also like to play games like FIFA 12 and COD3 and BF3 etc but not necessarily at high setting..medium or even low would do jst as long as i can play them smoothly at low resolutions. So if you could Please help me out here i would be very thankful!...:) ....Jst know that the price cant go above $250....Thanks!

Fitting a hdd in the budget will be tough considering the prices these days. Is your psu adequate?? Can you list the exact model? Better yet list all of the parts that you plan on reusing, if you can reuse the hdd you might have an easier time with this.

Have to be honest. Its going to be tough to fit a system into that budget. The biggest problem is with the hard drive costs. They went through the roof as of late.

One of the best options would be for you to find a used system.

You could pick up a used AMD or Intel system that is about 2 years old for that price.

Look for good processor, and video card.

Its risky but not much options with a budget like that.

250 is going to be too tight i think to build a gaming rig you would like...

i would honestly suggest just getting a console...

u could build a linux rig cheaply but then gaming is pretty much out

$250 = GTX 560 Ti so much lol

The title just made me laugh. Sorry dude, but you'll be better off with a console like the other guys said.

Get a 6770, for the PSU get an Antec EarthWatts 500W or 600W, depends if u will Cfx in the future.

This Kingston 4GB RAM is just $20
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

And get the cheapest case with a fan.

I have an old Intel PC Dual core @1.6Ghz, 1 Gb ddr2 Ram,80 Gb hard disk, And an old Asus Ddr2 Mobo....pretty shitty!.....And u have to understand i dont have a job im 14 years old whose parents dont want to give him money to buy a PC because they think he should study and not waste time on the PC....and srsly I dont want an 'I' series...they are way too expensive....and not a high end video card....i have a friend who has an Nvidia gt 8500 and he can run games like BBC2 And Skyrim Etc....and he has a core 2 duo.....so anything from Amd or Intel in my price range would help....i have 1024x768 resolution so any low end graphic card could run games at low or medium i think.....so if can put that into perspective and then answer i would be really gracious :) ....and Thanks for all your responses!...:)

There should be a sticker on the PSU with "+12V = ##A" information on it. If that number is at least 18 you should be okay.
