Hi all Am hoping you may be able to shed some light on this issue i'm having.
I have a Gateway SX2802-01 Desktop pc. I am getting this Continuous beeping at post.
Here is random info for you peoples,
Has 2x 2GB Sticks of mem, one was not seated -0-o
Will load a usb of windows just fine - no beeps,
Will load Ubuntu live cd - no beeps,
Can see HDD an have backed up all user files,
Have swapped mem stick placement, 1 in and other out so on. No DDr 2 800 here for me to test,
No blown Caps,
Psu seems ok
Defaulted bios and made sure it was setup ok.
No heat so on looks ok... So what do you all think?
I am about to go into bios and set hdd to ide mode and load windows 7 , mind you no beeps during ide mode post, just blinking cursor 0-o
