What kind of adapter is needed for this?

I started to build a pc, I bought a Gigabyte Z68AP-D3 motherboard and a TFT BenQ G2420HDBE monitor.

On the website that I bought the monitor from it says:
Monitor Connections: DVI-D, VGA/D-Sub

Which adapter do I need to buy, to be able to connect this cable to this motherboard

You will need to buy a VGA to HDMI Adapter or Cable.

Will it affect quality?

I tossed my old VGA monitor as soon as i could get DVI LCD, for me VGA looks to fuzzi on the screen. Adapter wont matter it will look same, those adapters usually included with video cards or motherboards as well.
