Ram upgrade for laptop

hey there

i'm considering upgrading my hp touchsmart tm2-2060ez laptop (running win7 x64) by increasing the ram from the factory 2x 2gb to the maximum 2x 4gb (and also switching to a ssd, but this question is about the ram only).

i think the maximum supported speed is the current 800mhz. which ram modules do you suggest getting? these will probably be faster than 800 so how do you suggest lowering the timings in order to achieve the best performance, if possible?

It's gonna be expensive for RAM that old, because you are paying for the top RAM from ten years ago, but I found some for a relatively cheap price...
