Hi, i'm currently building my own PC and i have no clue what so ever on which motherboard i should pick. All i know is that i would really want a Z77 model. It's for a gamer pc with Intel core i5 3470 and Radeon HD 7950.
I would like it to be around 80 £.
Hope you can give some suggestions on brand and model, to give the best performance in that price range :)

The i5-3470 has the multiplier partially locked, you can get it to 4 ghz, but that's that, you need the i5-3570k(unlocked multiplier)if you want further than that.
As for the motherboards, if you're planning to overclock this one is within the price range : http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B007P709Q6/

If you don't, a h77 motherboard, is what you'll need, since it has the same features as the z77 minus overclocking capabilities : http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B007NOYCZ0/

Yeah i know that i should get i5-3570k, but i want to avoid to OC, cause i'm a bit noob at that point. So if i dont OC would the 3470 then be ok, or should i still go for the 3570k?

Uhmm i dont want to sound dumb, but is ASRock really that great? What about Asus? And thx for the links btw :)
