Will the chip-sets work together?

Will the chip-set of ASrock A75M be compatible with the chip-set of the Zotac Synergy Edition 1gb GT640?
I have got it at the moment but it does not seem to be working so I have decided to find out if it will work

The motherboard(Asrock A75M) will be compatible with the graphics card listed(zotac 1GB 640 GT), since it has a pcie 2.0 16x slot, which is compatible with any pcie gfx card, pcie 3.0 is backwards compatible with previous pcie.
You just need a psu within 350W(recommended by nvidia).
