Is there any way for me to create a desktop icon that will automatically take me to the user selection screen (the one you get after you choose Log Off ---> Switch User)?
Do u have "automatic logon enabled"? If not, check the "user accounts" under control panel and verify settings. Or just use group policy editor to show the welcome screen.
