is it possible to put a QX6700 into a dell xps 410?, the bios has been updated to 2.5.3, currently im runnin a Intel core 2 duo 2.13ghz e6400, and even though this is a great processor its not able to keep up with games much longer

heres my specs

5670 ATI Saphirre 1gb
Stock PSU

I noticed about 60 watts difference between the e6400 and the qx6700

I guess what im askin is, will the board support it and will my powersupply be able to keep up?

Running your parts, including the new QX6700 CPU through a PSU calculator suggested a 350W PSU. You should be just 'OK' with the stock 375W PSU.

What monitor resolution do you game at? I'm not certain that the CPU is your limiting factor, depending on what games you play. It could be the GPU.

i run my monitor at 1080, and the processor is my weakest link i mean i cant play call of duty or many of the newer games because they require a e6600 or more.., the gpu ive heard i could use a 5770
