Please recommend ATX case

Wondering what's the most recommended ATX Cases available out there.

It should have space for future SLI/Xfire. I'm going for MSI 7850 twin frozr(225.48 x 111 x 38mm), and an upcoming i5-3570k with yet-undecided LGA2011 mobo. Most probably going to get 1 DVD bay, 1 3.5" hard drive, necessities and such.

Currently I've got my eyes on the Cooler Master 690 II Advanced, but that was a year ago, I'm wondering if anyone has any more updated recommendations. Price range should be around the CM690 II advanced price, ~$80USD. Slightly more is fine, if the upgrades are substantial. Preferably mid-towers, I don't think I need the extra space of full-towers, but please correct me if I'm wrong, as this is my first build.

Thanks in advance for all advice!

Thats a +1 right there for the Corsair 400R, i build alot of systems for alot of people, and the Corsair range of cases give you an amazing level of quality, features and room for your money, and the 400R will not only meet your needs but also any possible future needs you might have, ive used one of those for a 2 x 240mm rad watercooled gaming system which was a dream to build in that case.

The 400R is a more impressive case from the 2 IMO.
The HAF is rubbish for cable tidying.

400r is a great case but nothing is wrong with 690 ii cable management-

or haf 912(which is a cheaper case then 400r)

LOL, only one side is painted... kind of stupid.

Cable management looks ok.
400R still beats it though :/

with all due respect sir,how?
no offence just would like to know some more about that case.

thanks for all the help guys! You guys sure are fast. Right now I'm leaning towards the phantom 410 mostly due to having more usb slots, fan speed controls and sleek looks. Most of you seem to be clearly in favor of the corsair 400r, though. May i please know which factors influenced your views that way?

Only fanboyism i have is towards silverstone products, they are simply epic.

not a fanboy but i really like SS products.fortress FT02B is my favorite silverstone case followed by TJ11.
one silly question,is fortress a full tower or mid?

They all make up my 3 systems, and have all been slightly modded by me with windows and LED lighting to bask the beauty of the internal components, oh and yes i am a sad geek, haha.

The 912 like all haf's imo is ugly as sin , however , thats subjective and at $50.00 you cant go wrong . True its not loaded with features but thats why its so inexpensive . Also its a starting point . The interior can be painted , fans upgraded , etc.

that's a personal preference mate and yeah i admit that i don't like the looks HAF cases except the haf 922 amd edition-

Personally I am not a fan of the aggressive, gamer look that many of the budget cases seem to follow like the HAF series. After several days and many hours and reading reviews and watching videos, I settled on the Corsair 300R. The 400R gets nice reviews, but like I said not a fan of the aggressive, gamer look. The Corsair 300R is much cleaner with a sleek design, yet has the features of the 400R and 500R. Worth checking out in my opinion.

300 illusion is a great case but again 912 beats it-
912 supports m-atx and atx where as 300 supports only atx boards.
it has more drive bays
it has more expansion slots
it is also more roomy
it also looks better IMO.
not showing any fanboyism!
just a good discussion.
and for 400r,haf 922 is strong rival-

and +1 for the phantom.one of the best looking case.

I have a 912 and it's great - what I like is that it has great cable management for a case it's price and has lots of features that aren't found in cases in its' price range like the SSD adapter.

No lol I'm still monitoring this. Did some research on the 912, 300, 300r, 400r, 410, cm690 2, just about everything mentioned here. I'm stealing leaning towards the 410, followed by 400r. Thanks for all the help! :)

410 - is that the NZXT Phantom 410?

You can't go wrong with that or the Carbide 400R.

both are great cases.in fact it's a personal preference.no case is 'best case with no cons'.410 has sleek looks but 400r has more fan mounts(10 LOL).you can't go wrong with either one.
@firedrop,if you like phantom then go ahead it's a great case.
