Powering off and on

Hello all,

Just build new PC and have an odd thing happening-

I power on the PC and then it powers off then powers back on?

Any thoughts why?

My first thought is that when you boot the system, the BIOS finds a setting that it doesn't like, looks for a bootable setting, then powers down, and successfully tries again.

Second thought: if the problem only happens like the first time you try to turn on the computer for the day, you could have a minor fault in the circuits that control the powerup sequence of the PSU.

So does this happen each time or just occasionally?

OK...just powered off and scren came up and said overclocking failed? Never overclocked.

My CPU temp states 109f....to hot?

Thats only 43 C, not too hot at all.

Did you maybe accidentally select an overclocking preset in the BIOS?

How do I update bios? Have following - Version 0401 and need Version 0703 .

i choose run and it a ROM file and cant open or execute.
