Hi guys
Im really interested in purchasing a aftermarket cpu cooler and the one I am looking at is a Thermaltake SpinQ VT CPU Cooler. on the specs I have read it says that it is compatible with AM2, AM2+ and AM3. I have a AM3+ socket motherboard. would this cooler still be compatible?

what is the difference between the two AM3 and AM3+ sockets?

CPU coolers on AMD haven't changed since 939 as far as mounting goes. Vendors are usually too lazy to update their "support list" right away.

AM3+ is basically AM3 with faster HT bus, and some minor tweaks to the power management.
